“SomeReflections on Vulnerability… with a Focus on High-Income Countries”.
15 March 2024, Granada, Spain
Description: This lecture was part of the workshop of the Global Answer project, which explored issues related to vulnerability and social inclusion. Speakers were academics from the University of Granada, the University of Palermo, and representatives from Oxfam, who engaged in discussions on the implications of social work toward migrants, vulnerability in high-income countries and comparative legislations in Spain and Italy for migrants and refugees. My lecture provided insights into how wealthier nations address social disparities and the challenges that persist despite their economic advantages. I also focused on the definition of vulnerability and on the vulnerability assessment that should be made in high-income countries for refugees and asylum seekers.
